Tashi Rabten, Trijang Labrang
When in 1981 Geshe Rabten Rinpoche founded a Buddhist monastery in the estate Letzehof in Austria, he gave it the name Tashi Rabten, which was the name of Kyabje Trijang Rinpoche’s residence in Dharamsala in India, foreseeing that future developments in Dharamsala would lead to the dissolution of this residence. In 2001 a new building for a Labrang was then added to the Dharma Centre Tashi Rabten and serves since as Trijang Choktrul Rinpoche’s European residence.
